Valley of the Mills route
It is in the most natural part of the Gorges de l’Hérault, at the foot of the Chutes Blanches of the “Moulin de Bertrand” Dam that we welcome you to our Canoe Hérault Vallée des Moulins base.
We offer 2, 3 and 4 seater canoe rentals and 1-seater kayaks on two courses.
- A 12 km descent route between white falls, old mills and other vestiges of time.
- A calm and relaxing descent , 4km in the end of the Gorges accessible from 4 years old.
You will discover the most admirable sector of the Gorges de l’Hérault with its white falls, its old grain mills and other vestiges of the past.
You will cross small rapids that are easy and fun. Swimming, lazing on the banks and picnicking will enhance your canoe or kayak descent in Saint-Guilhem-Le-Désert.
These Gorges being without roads or trails for 12 km, only the canoe will offer you its landscapes.
